Operations & Executive Assistant

I learn how a business works, then build what it needs.

Contact me Download CV

Since 2024 I've been building systems for small businesses, and today I run Almácigo Software on my own: a management system that retailers in different industries use every day. I map how each business operates, set the rules, build it with AI-assisted development, take it live, and stay with the client until they can run it without help.

Looking for a remote EA or Operations role with a US company. Completed Pareto Talent's EA bootcamp; I'm in their talent pool.

How I work

Sheet 2 of 11
  1. 1

    Map the process

How the business charges, tracks stock and measures results. That map becomes the spec for everything that follows.

  2. 2

    Set the rules

I turn what I saw into concrete rules: what happens in each case, including the odd ones.

  3. 3

    Build with AI

I direct Claude Code: I define the behavior, check the result against how the business really runs, and iterate until it holds.

  4. 4

    Take it live

Onboarding, catalog setup, domains, certificates and billing.

  5. 5

    Stay with the client

I train people and pick up the phone when something breaks, until the store is selling again and they can run it on their own.

To be clear

I'm not a senior developer. I'm an analyst who builds with AI: my part is deciding what needs to exist and proving it works in the real business. I'm learning SQL and Python fundamentals in my data science program.

A migration that balanced to the cent

Sheet 3 of 11
The problem
A retailer had to change systems without losing its past: its entire operating history lived in the old one.
What I did
I moved the full history across and verified the reconciliation down to the cent before making the switch.
Each dot is one sale. All 9,094 of them.

The resultThe store opened the next day on the new system.

The report owners close the day with

Sheet 4 of 11
The problem
Owners were closing the day with spreadsheets they kept by hand.
What I did
I defined the report they actually needed: what to look at, in what order, and what has to jump out before they lock up.
Sample data
  1. Revenue
  2. Gross margin
  3. Top sellers
  4. Low-stock alerts

4 numbers, 1 report

The negative margin that couldn't exist

Sheet 5 of 11
The problem
A client's dashboard showed an impossible negative margin. This is how I catch errors: I look for numbers that don't add up.
What I did
I traced it to the source: the cost of a whole case had been entered as the cost per unit. I fixed it and added a check that stops that mistake before it gets saved.
Sample product 3CostPriceMargin
As entered9,6001,400 −8,200
Fixed: case ÷ 128001,400 +600
Sample data

The resultThe number added up again, and that mistake can't get saved unnoticed anymore.

One bad entry, one new rule

12 insurers, one database

Sheet 6 of 11
The problem
Policies from 12 insurance companies came in as CSV exports with formats that didn't match, and someone had to enter them by hand.
What I did
I normalized those formats and merged every policy into a single database.

Experience

  1. 2024 – present

    Founder & Business Analyst

    Almácigo Software (independent): almacigosoftware.com.ar

    • Started with desktop programs for small businesses; today it's a live web application: management software and websites, used daily across several industries.
    • Mapped how each business sells and tracks stock, and turned that into system rules. Migrated client data and designed the daily close report.
    • I handle onboarding, catalog setup, training, billing and live support: I diagnose the problem and get the fix built until the store is selling again.
    • Second product line: websites and online stores on the same platform, each live on the client's own domain.

Off the clock

Sheet 10 of 11

Before tech I spent two years in medical school and realized it wasn't for me. What stayed: color-coded notes and a visual order I hate breaking. I'm a perfectionist about most things, and I count that as a plus.

My first program turned an Excel I'd built for an insurance job into real software. I couldn't code, so I pasted from ChatGPT until it finally worked. They really used it, and today it's part of Almácigo.

After work: the gym with friends, jazz, Men I Trust, The Marías, co-op games, and a walk for coffee or ice cream around my quiet town. And Sienna, my black-and-tan dachshund puppy, named after a song by The Marías. She likes to sleep on me.
